    Hi all!

Trying to connect to an external NoMachine server by using a http proxy, I get the error message “The connection to the server was lost”. By standard our office’s proxies block the SSH port of the server (which is not 22) so I need to set a special proxy which passes requests to other ports.

We examined the connection with Whireshark. The Wireshark log looks like the connection is established properly by the proxy server.

In case anybody has a clue what goes wrong here, I enclosed a session log. For security reasons I anonymyzed user and server data in the file.

    Thanks a lot!

    T.

Can you provide server side logs too?

I suppose you are connecting via SSH protocol to port other then 22, did you adjusted SSHDPort key in server.cfg?

    reza,

thanks for your response. No, unfortunately I do not have access to the server side logs. I am going to ask our HPC provider for the appropriate session log.

This issue should be directed to the team via the website. The forums are dedicated to our latest version, namely NoMachine 4. I have forwarded on the info you submitted.
