NoMachine Client portable version

Is a portable version of the NoMachine client still planned?

I found this, but that was posted 6 years ago, and I still don’t see a portable version available.

I have successfully followed the suggestion to install NoMachine Enterprise Client on a Windows host, then copy the install directory on a USB drive.  But, that is very inconvenient.

1. Can’t install the Enterprise Client on a Windows computer that already has full NoMachine package installed.
2. Updating the ‘portable’ NoMachine Enterprise Client is difficult.
3. I don’t always have a Windows PC handy to install Enterprise Client and then copy the install directory.

Hi,

we have just recently made some changes to our roadmap which affect the FR that you linked. Please check it again and proceed to the new link that is provided in the dismissed FR. It is definitely planned and its current target is version 7.
