NoMachine crashes after minimizing

Using NoMachine (version 6.9.2) on Windows 10. When I minimize NoMachine (using the minimize window icon in the upper right, like all Windows programs) it will randomly crash and disappear from the taskbar.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times, but the same thing keeps happening. This is the latest version allowed by my company, so installing a later version isn’t an option.

Can’t figure out what is causing this behavior, or how to stop it. Hoping for some advice/input. Thank you.

In the logs, it has written some of the following errors. These errors are all dated 09/18/2021, but may be from multiple crashes of the program.

Thank you for reporting this. It is a known issue and it was fixed in Version 7.

As you need to keep version 6, we suggest trying the workout mentioned in this article: Sudden termination of client on Windows hosts with NVIDIA or AMD cards
