Running NX on Linux Mint 19. Created a connection to a Debian box, and logged in OK. Clicking on connection in tray icon connects immediately.

Fast forward a day or two, and clicking on the connection prompts for credentials. I enter them, check “remember for this connection” and also have to resubmit the preferences screens (with “don’t show this again” checked). Log in no problem. Can close and reopen the connection without needing a password.

    Rinse and repeat.

Known bug ? Or not an NX but Linux issue ?

(I would have included version information, but in the absence of the industry standard “Help..About” screen, it doesn’t seem necessary …)

Hi. We’re not aware of such an issue, but it would be nice if you could contact us on forum[at]nomachine[dot]com to receive a client debug version. It would be helpful to collect some data in order to understand why the client cannot match the server stored settings.

To know the version and you want to do it from the !M icon, click ‘Show the service status’ -> Server preferences -> Updates. You can also check the version from the connection GUI: click ‘Settings’ and follow the same path as mentioned above. If you have Enterprise Client installed instead, click ‘Settings’ -> Preferences -> Updates.

Let us know what the version and product is either side, thanks.
