    Has anyone noticed the NX server registered login session but never set Idlehint=yes even I have disconnect from my machine.

    As I showed below, the loginctl showed session c21 is created by service NX.

    My setup is Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop. This is VM running on KVM. It have xorg-video-dummy driver installed as this is headless VM. I have also force it to use Physical X11 session by set config file /user/NX/etc/server.cfg to “CreateDisplay 0”

    Is NoMachine currently do not use systems-login daemon?

    loginctl show-session c21

    Id=c21

    User=1000

    Name=Testuser

    Hi

    NoMachine don’t use systems-login daemon.

    If there is a need we could propose some custom script that would set Idlehint=yes, for example with this command:

    dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.login1 /org/freedesktop/login1/session/c21 "org.freedesktop.login1.Session.SetIdleHint" boolean:true

    (where c21 is ID of your session).
