I have nx 4.2.25 client on Windows 7 and the same version of nx server on RHEL 6.5. I have KDE desktop 4.3.4 on linux box which is setup to activate after 10 minutes of inactivity and requires password to unlock. When I connect to linux box from Windows, the screen saver is activated every couple of seconds, which makes nx almost impossible to use. The only way I can use nx is if I disable screensaver on linux box which is not practical either.
Any suggestions?
Send us the full set of log files and also .xsession-errors.
The output of “xset q” and also “xdpyinfo”. The logs can be extracted using the article here and sending to issues[at]nomachine[dot]com.
