New NoMachine build 6.8.1-2 was released in Archlinux’s AUR a couple of days ago, it works fine

for arch users the AUR has been recently updated with patched version

aur version = 6.8.1-2

I updated to this version and it works fine with plasma 5.17.0

I have the same issue with KDE Neon 5.17.  I receive an error that the screen locker is broken after I applied the work-around.

 

This happens on both the Windows 10 and Android clients; I’ve attached a screenshot.

Also, SSH mode does not work on patched NoMachine version. Is there anything you can do about this?

SSH support isn’t available in the free version, but in Enterprise Desktop.

Yes, if you have installed the evaluation version from our website, it is included. You can’t install the free version on top of another NoMachine product already installed, however, and vice-versa. To install one you have to remove the other.

Can you tell us the output of this from a terminal?

/usr/NX/bin/nxserver --version

that way we can tell what you have installed.
