NoMachine server suddenly stopped working on Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS after a reboot.  Logs are attached following instructions on https://kb.nomachine.com/DT11R00181

    Using ‘nomachine_7.7.4.1_amd64.deb’.

I removed NoMachine and reinstalled version nomachine_8.1.2_1_amd64.deb, but I’m getting the same result.

I have a commercial license.  Am I requesting support improperly?

We are not aware of similar problems when connecting to Xubuntu 20.04. The logs you submitted show several errors suggesting a misconfigured localhost. If you have a subscription with us, please log in here https://www.nomachine.com/support and open a support enquiry. Your Customer credentials were provided at the time of purchase.

I’m still waiting on my IT dept to provide the customer credentials (sigh).  Regardless, I found that I didn’t have localhost set in my /etc/hosts file.  Once updated, NoMachine started working (I’m not sure how/why it worked previously).  Thank you for the hint.
