    Hi ,

In order to automate connecting, for a machine whose IP changes all of the time , and is handled by automation scripts I wrote.

I’m looking for a way to execute the terminal client with specific pre-created session (which holds the config I want) , but to be able to “override” or specify the IP when starting the terminal client (nxplayer).

Clients are both Windows and Linux. The only way I found so far is to override the session_config file ‘s dest_ip field right before executing the terminal client (nxplayer) but I’m looking for more elegant solution . . . .

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Dude

A more elegant solution is using DDNS. Then you could use a domain such as mynomachine.ddns.net, but for that you need to configure a DDNS service on the server side.

I don’t see a solution other than changing the entry in the connection configuration file on client side.
