I recently upgraded both server and client to Ubuntu 22.04, and the both server and client to NoMachine 7.10.1.

Afterwards, all printers now appear available as redirected NX Printers, but all print blank pages.

In the server when remoted in via NoMachine, the unlock button to make changes is also now disabled.

Hi, thanks for reporting. We have reproduced this and have opened a Trouble Report.

Empty pages when forwarding printers to Mint 21 desktop

Does anyone know of a workaround? Is it the NX redirect drivers? Can I install the actual drivers instead?

This makes my session not fully useful if I cannot print. Is there anything I can do to get it fixed? If I pay for a license, does this provide support for this kind of issue?

This is not a known issue and it’s necessary to investigate it to find a solution or fix, regardless if it’s NoMachine free or a licensed version.

Please send us the following logs at forum[at]nomachine[dot]com

    1) NoMachine debug logs from the server host.
    Instructions are here:

    2) CUPS logs:

    In /etc/cups/cupsd.conf add this line:

    LogLevel debug

    Then restart cupsd:
    sudo service cups restart

    Logs are in /var/log/cups/ – access_log and error_log
