    Hello everyone,

I’m sorry if I’m not into the good forum but I’ve a problem that concerns Linux and Windows…

I’ve a Linux server (slackware 14.2)  and I want to access to a disk on it via NoMachine (last free version )  from an other computer to make more easy the files exchanges when required.

If this other computer is also a Linux system or macOS system, I’ve any problem to access to it.

But if this other computer is a Windows 10 (up-to-date),  there is  a problem. When I try the procedure of sharing this disk, Windows displays well on the desktop an icon with the name of disk but after one minute I’ve got a blue screen. Windows says to have detected a problem, collects data and reboot…

    Please advise me. Thank you.

    Hi,

Do you have any antivirus installed? If so, which program is it? Can you try to disable it and then try to mount remote disk again? Could you also send mini dump generated by the operating system? By default they should be located in C:\Windows\minidump. Please send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com using the title of that forum’s thread as the mail’s subject.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for logs. As a temporary solution we may suggest uninstalling antivirus. In a meantime our lab will investigate the problem.

The next MR should include a patch for this issue which is encountered when AVG/Avast is installed.
