Hi, all! I’m sure this has a simple fix, but I’ve searched the forums and can’t find an applicable solution.

I’m getting the “The remote host ‘x.x.x.x’ refused to establish a network connection on port ‘4000’.” error.

Win 10 Client, host is Ubuntu server with GUI installed

Fresh OS install on the server with all updates. I rebooted after the NoMachine install.

sudo lsof -i -P -n | grep LISTEN on the server doesn’t show any ports higher than 1145

On the server side what’s the output of  /etc/NX/nxserver --status in a terminal? If it’s not “started”, can you restart it with  --restart? Logs would be useful if restarting doesn’t help. For logs please check this article https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/AR07K00677 . You can send them directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.
