Hey all, big fan of NoMachine. Recently I switched from the pre-installed pulseaudio drivers that come on Ubuntu 22.04 and to Pipewire + Wireplumber.

In doing that, the Ubuntu machine no longer has the NoMachine sound drivers that are selectable  in the system sound device and I consequently can’t stream audio from the machine.

Is there anyway to re-install or re-enable the sound drivers without doing a re-install of NoMachine? I don’t want to lose all of my configuration and etc.

    Thanks for any advice!

    Hi 🙂

NoMachine doesn’t yet support Pipewire, this will be added in the next release.

As for reconfiguring audio settings without uninstalling, you can use the command:
    sudo /usr/NX/scripts/setup/nxnode --audiosetup
