    Hi,

I have searched the forums / documentation, but cannot find the answer.

I believe there used to be a way to save the username / password that you have to type in initially. Has that somehow changed recently? Currently, I have to type the credentials in twice, which is really annoying!

I have found settings like “remember username” and “remember password” in the session file (.nxs), but manually changing them to “true” does not help (they are automatically reset to ‘false’ whenever I connect to the session again.) There also does not seem to be anything in the GUI to help.

Could it be that the server is set up to somehow block this on the client? (given it’s a client connection file this would surprise me!?)

    Best,

    Matt

Yes, server admin can enforce general security by not allowing clients to store credentials. If server is managed by you I doubt this is the case, but if you’ve an administrator, I’d contact him/her to ask for confirmation.

Thanks very much for the response.

I don’t think it’s managed by me. I’ll ask the IT team. I just assumed it would be a client setting (it definitely _could_ be if the client chose not to co-operate with the server :D)

    Matt
