I’m connecting from a corporate Windows laptop (v. 10.0.19044) to a personal Linux machine (Fedora 36 running X11).

The connection is accepted, but my ability to interact with the remote Linux desktop is severely limited. I can interact with the first remote window I click on, but once I change the focus to another window, neither mouse clicks nor keyboard commands produce any response. All I can do is move the mouse pointer.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

What NoMachine products do you have installed on both sides? Are they the latest versions?

Is it a physical desktop session with monitors attached? Or are you connecting to a headless? What’s the desktop environment running there?

You mention “first remote window” and “change focus to another window”. What are these windows? Application windows on the remote desktop? Steps and screenshots would be useful 🙂

The problem went away with the 8.1.2 Linux update, so all’s well.

    Thanks!
