Remove Screenshot option from NX Player or not to allow in NX Server

I have installed the free version for testing purpose and it works very well for our requirements. But as per data leakage policy, one of our client wants the software to be more secure. We have gone through the NX FAQ and blocked device re-direct, recording etc but we couldn’t able to block the option of “Take Screenshot” in the disconnect Tab. We really don’t know it is available or having the more controls in the paid enterprise version.

If anyone knows how to block the screenshot option or restrict to take the screenshot. If that works very well, our client will be happy to procure enterprise licenses.

You should be looking to install Enterprise Desktop on the computers you want to access if you or your client are using the software in a commercial environment. Disabling the screenshot feature is possible by preventing access to the “Connection information” dialog. Take a look at the ClientMenuConfiguration key in the server.cfg and remove “connection”.

Thank you so much for the info. I will try to revert if we require further information on the server.cfg.

One more info required, if we disable input,display,display-mode,display-settings,connection,devices,devices-disk,devices-printer,devices-usb,devices-network,devices-smartcard,audio,audio-settings,mic,mic-settings,recording in server.cfg in ClientMenuConfiguration key, it is possible if users do windows signoff to get out from the NX session. If that works, we are perfect for to take the decision to procure the licenses.

The product works very well even in 45m/s internet latency. Please let me know what is maximum latency  NX can able to play a video in real-time inside in the NX session.

Closing the window of the player has the same function as the ‘Disconnect’ button in the menu.

Regarding latency, bandwidth and other benchmarks, it can depend on a combination of factors such as what you want to use the connection for, if it’s on a VPN or not, etc so please consult the following:
