I am trying to determine if there is a way to configure NoMachine Enterprise Desktop for Mac so that it is not required to add NoMachine to the Privacy->Screen Recording settings.  Since Screen Recording cannot be automated with a configuration profile like Accessibility, this results in the lack of a command-line-only workflow for initially installing NoMachine, e.g. over SSH to a remote Mac, since Screen Recording can only be modified via a GUI session and/or VNC/Apple Remote Desktop. I disabled some of the screen recording options on the node.cfg file, and this made a tiny bit of progress. The video was no longer inverted and I could click on the menu bar items like File, etc. but the menus weren’t displayed and I couldn’t do anything else or see anything on the desktop.

NoMachine Enterprise Desktop for Mac so that it is not required to add NoMachine to the Privacy->Screen Recording settings.

Any NoMachine product for Mac must be added to Apple’s permission via GUI and it can’t be done via CLI. In version 8 we fixed an issue affecting these permissions which were being reset every time you updated your macOS version. Now, in version 8, you add NoMachine to macOS permissions once, and will not need to do it again.
