Server does not publish external IP

@johng we need a further set of logs from you if that’s possible. We sent you an email, but perhaps you didn’t receive it, so we just resent it.

@vicntc, this is a different problem to the one your are experiencing. Please use https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/cannot-create-the-home-directory-for-the-nx-user as the correct thread. Thanks.

I seem to have two problems. They may be related but at least one of them appears to be that NoMachine won’t publish an external address. That seemed to be pretty close if not the same as @johng described.

The issue of not creating the nx user folder may be related or may be the cause of not publishing an external IP or it may be totally unrelated. Thank you for hiving that portion off as it’s own thread and I look forward to your suggested solutions.

Just to conclude this thread, 4.2.26 included a fix for the original IP problem of johng.
