    NoMachine free 4.5

    computer 1:  openSuSE 13.1 x86_64 running KDE 4.14

    computer 2: Window 8.1 x86_64

    A. NoMachine browsers find each other.

    B. computer 2 client > computer 1 server:  works great!

    C. computer 1 client > computer 2 server “Could not connect to the server.  Error is 104: Connection reset by peer.

    D. computer 2 (dual boot) openSuSE 13.2 x86_64 with linux kernel 4.x running KDE 4.14 — both openSuSE computers can find each other,  computer 1 client > computer 2 server gets the Error is 111, connection refused.  Computer 2 client >computer 1 server logs in, then crashes when the physical machine is selected.

(Both will connect as servers & clients under TigerVNC.)

    E.  It’s possible there is some confusion due to both the windows 8.1 and openSuSE 13.2 having the same IP address.

    Any thoughts?

(BTW, same as another post in this forum, cannot authenticate on Windows 8.1 to change preferences.)

    Hello, daltrey

Could you check if you have enabled any firewall on this machine? If yes, please try to disable it or add nomachine as exception and try to connect one more time.

We are not able to reproduce your problems in our laboratory so we have to ask you to send logs from your Windows and OpenSUSE machines.

Instructions for collecting logs you can find here – https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697. You can send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.

    Regards.
