My understanding is that there is no free or paid license or special configuration that will enable viewing a macOS app (eg, Calendar, Photos, etc) as a single window on the physical Windows 10 desktop.  I believe that the only server that can provide single application windows to the client is the Unix variant, using virtual displays.

I really like the speed and convenience of  NoMachine, but I was really hoping that I could use it to access my Mac apps seamlessly with Windows 10 apps on the Windows desktop, rather than having to have the Mac desktop framing always there too.  As far as I can tell, this limitation is not a matter of free vs paid, but rather it’s just a feature that is exclusive to the Unix server.

    Is my understanding correct?

    Thank you.

Hi Doug, running virtual session/single applications is only possible on Linux platforms, in the Terminal Server family. This is due to licensing restrictions in Mac’s EULA. This was discussed briefly in another topic here: https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/use-a-mac-with-two-or-more-users-at-once#post-18277
