I am eval’ing the enterprise client windows to a the terminal server on linux . I need smartcard sharing (both systems seeing the reader). Smartcardsharing is enabled and if I point to a local pkcs11 dll, the local system can see the reader to share. However the remote system never sees the reader. I can share other items like a local drive with the server. I have turned the server logs to debug as well as the node logs and there are no errors. The only thing I have seen is on the client  session file (see below but that is it)

    Info: Accepted new slave connection.
Info: Closed connection to slave server.
    Info: Forwarded new slave connection.
Info: Closed connection to slave server.

Something else of note. If I use the free client (not the enterprise), I can “redirect” a generic USB device to the remote system and it sees it just fine. however the local system losses access to the device.

    Hello,
Could you please clarify how are you forwarding the device? Are you using the „Devices -> SmartCard Readers” menu or the USB devices forwarding menu? Also could you tell us how are you checking that the device is not available on the remote side?
As for your second issue – this is the normal behaviour when forwarding a USB device. It is being re-attached to our virtual hub on your client machine and all data from the device is being forwarded to the server host.
