    Sound not working from Linux Kubuntu 18 to Windows 10. I have tried everything that I can think of. Just refuses to work.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried checking the default output playback device on your Windows 10 host? A bug in Windows 10 (Windows support accepted our bug report) switches the default speaker to NoMachine Microphone Adapter. If that happens, you need to change it back to the previous setting. See the example below.
