    I’m running the server (free version, 6.12.3_7) on Gentoo, installed with the Redhat option, it works fine except for sound. I have pulse installed, and working.

    If you install PulseAudio after NoMachine, it is necessary to run:
    sudo /usr/NX/scripts/setup/nxnode –audiosetup

    If you ‘ve done that but there is still no sound,  run the following command when the NoMachine session is running:

    pacmd list > pa_list.log

    and send us pa_list.log file

    What desktop environment is it?
