Start of visual Studio Code block session for about 2-3 Minutes

Hi,

we are using the NX Terminal Server and not using the whole desktop, but starting a single terminal application. Since one of the last updates of Visual Studio Code, when I start vscode from this terminal, the whole session gets blocked for about 2-3 minutes. When the vscode window is fully displayed, everything is working again. This happens everytime I open a new vscode window.

During the time the the server has no CPU load and no relevant disk usage.

Any idea what’s wrong?

Hello, would you tell me the version of VS Code and the GNU/Linux distro you are using?

Which is the version of NoMachine software?

NoMachine Server and Client are 6.8.1

VSCode is 1.40, the problem was the same for 1.39, while 1.35 did not had this problem (I didn’t try 1.36-38)

OS on server is Ubuntu 18.04.2

OS on client is Win 10

I cannot reproduce using VS code version 1.40.1-1573664190.

Did you get any error in NoMachine log?
Would you get the NoMachine stats from Connection menu?
