    remote: AWS EC2 ubuntu 13.10   nomachine_4.0.368_1_amd64.deb

    local: osX mavericks

installed latest .deb.  after a reboot do I need to do anything to turn on no machine server again?  is there a command I can run to see that it’s working.  I think I have opened the right ports using the AWS console webpage.  I followed headless instructions at

    https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00710 . . .  at step 5 I get the output      http://pastebin.com/9KCuGmaH

this meant that I couldn’t type any more commands so I made a new ssh into the server and did step 6 and step 7 there, I got this output

    http://pastebin.com/1xVjAR4k

then I try to connect from osX client but can’t connect.  I think it’s error 60 timeout.  Is there some step I’m missing?

    Hello.

    In http://pastebin.com/1xVjAR4k, shouldn’t it be

    ubuntu@ip-172-31-15-216:~$ DISPLAY=:0 /etc/X11/Xsession xfce4-session

I’m guessing you want to launch the Xfce desktop.
