    Hi,

I was using Nomachine 4 free version until now and wanted to test the virtual displays functionality of the workstation version.

I downloaded the nomachine-workstation-evaluation_4.0.369_2_x86_64.rpm package from your site did a “rpm -e nomachine” and a “rpm -i nomachine-workstation-evaluation_4.0.369_2_x86_64.rpm”.

If a do a rpm – q nomachine I still see “nomachine-4.0.369-2.x86_64” as the installed package, don’t know if this is normal.

/usr/NX/bin/nxserver –version gives me “NoMachine – Version 4.0.369”

I’m using the free nomachine package on the client side.

I don’t see any way to test the virtual desktop functionality and the product seems to work exactly the same way as the free version. It seems to me the created desktop is a real one not a virtual one and the Resize Remote Screen is not present in the gui.

    What am I doing wrong?

Hi, when you uninstalled NoMachine (free version), did you also remove the directory /usr/NX  before installing the Workstation? It looks like the previous license is interfering with the Workstation installation.

    No I did not.

I removed it before reinstall and it fixed the problem. I’m running the Workstation version now.

    Thanks for your help.
