Hi, apologies if this has been covered. My only purpose for NoMachine is to utilize a USB device (which is not a keyboard or mouse), that is physically connected to an iOS 12 device, on a Mac desktop running Sierra. The USB device transmits MIDI data, but it also communicates with its host program by being physically connected to the Mac, using some language that is unknown to me. I am trying to trick the host program into thinking the USB device is directly connected. Is this possible? If not, why?

Hi, unfortunately this isn’t supported. iOS is a very restrictive system and as third-party developers we don’t have access to those types of functions.

    Gotcha.

I moved on pretty quickly after posting this to looking at USB device servers from Silex and Hawking. Picked up a Silex SX-DS4000U2 and a Vonets VAP11N-300 and will see what happens.
