    Hi,

I’ve a problem with my NoMachine version 6.7.6 on Linux SUSE. I have two workstations (wks), wks 1 and wks 2. If wks 1 remotely wks 2 so there is no problem and running normally. But if wks 2 remotely wks 1 there is a problem. After connecting wks 1 from wks 2 a white screen will occur and there is a notice “codec unknown” in the display setting. How to change “codec unknown” to codec vp8 or h.246?

    Hi,

please gather server side logs from wks 1 as explained in https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697, and client side logs from wks 2 as explained in https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163#2. You can send everything to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. As a quick test, you can try to disable hardware encoding on the server:

    1)  Edit the node configuration file, /usr/NX/etc/node.cfg

    2) Uncomment and disable the EnableHardwareEncoding key:

    EnableHardwareEncoding 0

You seem to be experiencing this issue, already solved:

Therefore I suggest you to upgrade NoMachine to at least the last version 6, that is 6.13.1.
