Hi, Just tried to install NoMachine 4.3.24 free on a Windows xp sp3 32 bits (hardware hp dc5700)

It got stuck on the final step of the setup “checking…” no cpu, no disk, no mem usage, just waiting.

Only when I killed the subprocess, then setup started to install hardware drivers. Rebooted and then …

nxservice used 100%cpu. So I had to kill process and uninstall.

    P.D. worked fine on Windows 8.1 x64.

    ¿what can I check? Thanks.

    Hello avalcarcel,

When installing, it is always better to wait. Only if it seems to be
stuck at the same point for at least 10 minutes, you should make
sure you gather the installation logs before killing any of the
    subprocesses.

The installation log should be found in “Documents and Settings\
<username>\Local settings\Temp\”. The name of file will be “Setup Log
    <date>.txt”.

The other log files are located in “Documents and Settings/All
    Users/NoMachine/var/log”.

    Please send logs to issues[at]nomachine[dot]com.
