    Hi,

    Thank you.

I have some issues with this workaround. Sometimes when I connect to the remote PC and try to connect KB and Mouse, it shows as connected, but there is no recognition (as it was not connected). Or it works for first time, when I connect, then after some time when I am done doing stuff I disconnect from the remote PC and reconnect after some time and it shows that KB and Mouse is connected but it does not recognize to inputs.

I also got this Blue screen I think, since I did not see what happen to remote PC, just lost connection.

On Sun 1/29/2023 3:54:02 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
This was probably caused by the following module: win32kfull.sys (win32kfull+0x4C167)
    Bugcheck code: 0x139 (0x3, 0xFFFFED0A94FB72E0, 0xFFFFED0A94FB7238, 0x0)
    Error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\win32kfull.sys
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: Full/Desktop Win32k Kernel Driver
Bug check description: The kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure.
The crash took place in a Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

When it works its very cool, when it doesnt, I cant interact with PC at all. Even if I try to disconnect a Mouse from host and put it in Remote PC, there is no recognition, like all USB stuff would freeze.

My question is, how will it work once the issue is addressed in the new version of NoMachine? Will it work simply as any other inputs, when you do not forward the KB & Mouse?

    Hi,

I figured this out. Yes, this seems to work, but then I cant control the host 😀

Is it recommended like to forward like 2nd set of keyboard/mouse to the client?

    Hi,

This is amazing, this is a game changer, thank you a lot!.

But I am having this error:

Failed to connect the device ‘Razer DeathStalker’.

Also, this means that I have to have a keyboard and mouse to successfully control the PC?

I am also struggling to understand who is the client here, is it the PC I am connecting to?

    Hi,

NoMachine version 8.2.3 Windows on both PCs-

Windows version: 21H2 OS build 19044.2364

I remember this being actual with older versions of Windows and NoMachine versions.

I think that the game puts some sort of overlay which prevents the game interaction over the remote connection ( I mean I dont know how these button of keyboard and mouse actions are generated, but this seems to prevent it)

so I am wonder if anyone else had same issue and has a solution to overcome it.

Maybe some of the devs can reproduce this and comment?

So after various tests I am still unable to retrieve public IP into NoMachine Stats for a public connection.

I’ve read this post https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/two-private-ips-no-public-ip and seems I might have the same issue.

    Hello Bilbotine,

    Thank you for your answer.

I will try first command and check what it gives in result.

So to be more clear about the issue, I do not get the public IP which I could share to other people where they could connect to NoMachine from other networks, external networks, not local network. When you launch NoMachine there is a window on right side giving you connection end points which is your local IP for NoMachine server. I have done some research and found that in the same place it should show public IP as endpoint to connect NoMachine from external networks, but mine does not show one. It says that NoMachine tries to configure UPnP for external connection and this should appear if configuration is successful, but as stated that such endpoint does not appear I assume that there is a configuration failure at my end which I am having trouble to detect.

To be straight forward: how do I connect to NoMachine from external network?

    Thank you in advance.
