Could you please tell us in which Mac application you try to paste the text, and also if the clipboard never works or only when you try to copy in this application ?
A patch is available here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=+748341
As for nss-pam-ldapd, it works fine with NoMachine. It’s not affected by any bugs known to us which may break our application.
You could try the application MagicPrefs (here: http://magicprefs.com/).
It’s a free application for OS X which aims to improve the functionality and configuration options of the Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and the MacBook glass trackpad.
It features the ability to bind a variable number of finger clicks, taps, swipes, pinch and other gestures to functions like Middle Click, Hold Down Both Mouse Buttons, Spaces, Expose, Dashboard, Recent Applications, Tweet, Read Tweets, Google Reader etc.
we are glad it works now!
In order to help you, we need to investigate further. Can you please send an e-mail to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, making sure you use ‘Re: Graphics disappear’ as subject, with the following information:
– from what system to what system are you connecting and what is the type of session?
– what are the NoMachine packages and versions that you use?
– screenshots, if you have some.
– logs from both client and server side (the instructions to gather logs are here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677).
Your problem seems to be related to the fact that you use a trackpad.
Can you tell us what kind of notebook/laptop you are using ?
To solve the problem in xterm, we suggest you try the solution explained here: https://huyouncic.wordpress.com/2012/07/04/use-right-button-to-paste-on-xterm/
Another possibility is to enable the setting “Emulate middle button” in the player, using right and left button at the same time.
Can you tell us if you are connecting over LAN or internet ?
If you are connecting over internet, please have a look at the ‘Getting started with NoMachine’ tutorial: https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine
We don’t support RD Gateway at the moment and currently have no plan to support it in the future.
That said, you can use a proxy server instead, as we support HTTP proxy servers.
Please try to disable the lightweight mode. It will make virtual sessions use the same protocol as physical sessions.
The article “The lightweight mode in X-Window virtual desktop” (https://www.nomachine.com/AR02L00779) will help you if needed.April 17, 2015 at 16:24 in reply to: NX Server on Mac, forces random sleep after long uptime #6953
We have not been able to reproduce the problem so far.
The logs could be helpful; can you please send a full set to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com (making sure you reference this topic) ?
If needed, the procedure to follow is explained in the article “How to gather debug logs for support requests” (https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677)

We need debug NoMachine server logs to investigate further. Please follow the instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07K00677
and send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.
After enabling debug logs on problematic machine please execute:
and after that try to reproduce the issue.
Please send first set of logs just after ‘restart’ and next part when the issues occurs again.
Please also provide the exact version of OS X Yosemite that you are using.

The key should not change by itself over the night. It can change only after reinstallation of the software.
Can you confirm that you didn’t reinstall it in the meantime ?
Also, do you use the same access details (IP, port) as the ones used initially for the first connection to a host ?
Logout from virtual session should terminate all the processes opened by this session. Currently we know issues with remaining system processes after terminating. Hopefully the update of systemd (part of your Linux distribution) will fix it.
We have not been able to reproduce the issue with shells and running applications not exiting during termination in our laboratory.
Could you please collect the content of /home/<userdir>/.nx and /usr/NX/var/log directories (server side) while reproducing this problem and send it with the list of remaining processes to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com?
There are several options to terminate virtual sessions:
– to restore the possibility to decide if a session should be terminated by dialog during disconnecting, set in: /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg the key ConnectPolicy … dialog=1 and restart the server.
– when you are connected to the server, you have a list of running sessions. You can right-click on a virtual session and select a “Terminate session”.
– log out from session.
– terminate a virtual session via terminal by running as root /usr/NX/bin/nxserver –terminate [<sessionid> | <display> | <username>]
sessionid and display the number of virtual sessions you can get by running /usr/NX/bin/nxserver –list
Do you mean to access your server from a different device by using NoMachine?
In this case you need to install NoMachine (server) on the machine you want to reach. On the device from which you connect, install NoMachine client, that also exists for Android tablets and iPads.
