It seems like a new privacy/security check by iOS. Even if you have set “Network browsing” to show NoMachine computers on the network, you will now need to grant permissions explicitly in iOS.
Open Settings, Privacy, Local Network, look for the NoMachine app in the list and grant the permission.
Does this help?
BritgirlKeymasterYou should see a message asking to find and connect to other computers on the network (see attached). Click OK.
Do you not see this message?

BritgirlKeymasterSteveSpaw, can you confirm what the NoMachine package is that is installed on the AWS Windows server? The free version?
BritgirlKeymasterNo more new from either user so I advise you both to make sure you have the latest version installed and if you continue to have issues, please open a new topic. Thanks!
October 12, 2020 at 11:35 in reply to: Latest version of NoMachine supported by Mac OS X 10.6.8 #29894BritgirlKeymasterNoMachine 6 runs on macOS starting from Lion 10.7.
BritgirlKeymasterThe T-symbol represents NoMachine-enabled computers on the LAN as documented here:
https://www.nomachine.com/finding-other-nomachine-computers-on-the-same-network
If you don’t want a specific computer to be “advertized” on the LAN, you can switch it off on the computer in question. Disabling it on the server means that computer won’t show up in the connections panel.
Or, if you prefer not to see other users’ computers in the ‘Recent connections’ panel, which are being advertized on the network, you can disable seeing them in the player by ticking the box “Don’t show other computers on the network” in the Privacy panel of the player.

BritgirlKeymasterDo you mean when you transfer a file from the client to the server and vice-versa and the connection stops, your file stops up/downloading as well? This is the correct behaviour.
It is not currently possible to keep file transfer open when the connection between client and server has terminated.
BritgirlKeymasterIf you install PulseAudio after NoMachine, it is necessary to run:
sudo /usr/NX/scripts/setup/nxnode –audiosetupIf you ‘ve done that but there is still no sound, run the following command when the NoMachine session is running:
pacmd list > pa_list.log
and send us pa_list.log file
What desktop environment is it?
BritgirlKeymasterIf there was an image attached, please submit it again. Thanks.
BritgirlKeymasterCan you send the attachment directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, please put the title of the topic as the subject of your email.

BritgirlKeymasterLooks similar to this already known issue:
Cannot start a virtual session on Arch Linux
https://www.nomachine.com/TR10P08907BritgirlKeymasterPlease submit the .crash report from the affected Mac and if you can reproduce it quite easily, enable debug, reproduce the problem and send us the nxserver.log, nxerror.log along with the var/log/node/ directory.
Instructions how to enable debug are here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163#1.3
