Please submit logs. The logs that you already sent for the other topic, do they contain also information about the session when this happened? If not, we’ll need a fresh set.
Provided you want to run virtual desktops on Linux, then you will need one of the products from the Terminal Server for Linux range. I suggest you try Workstation which offers 4 virtual desktops. This will allow two different users to each have their own individual desktop running on the host at the same time.
Server side logs don’t contain the C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log\node directory, which is fundamental to investigate the problem. Client side logs are not from the correct location (%USERPROFILE%\.nx).
If you are using the free version, one connection is allowed to the remote computer.
If you want two different users to connect to the remote desktop simultaneously, you should install Enterprise Desktop. Both users, regardless of the OS, will see the same physical desktop.

Can you see the monitor (!M icon) in the task bar?
Does it disappear and then come back?
Is this what you mean when you say it starts and stops?
At the moment what is shown is only those connected via NoMachine. With the implementation of this Feature Request, it will be possible to see if a user is logged in locally as well.

Please check ~/.nx directory whether there are folders which start with “S-“.You will need admin rights to be able to see these.
Also check whether there are files which have the prefix ‘nxplayer_’ in these folders-

/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Send these via email or attach them here.

Permission is not requested if the user that is connecting is the owner of the desktop session. So, if someone is connecting to the desktop with the owner’s account name, there will be no request to authorize shown to the person sitting in front of the computer at the time, if there is someone sitting there.
If you are sitting in front of the computer that someone is asking and you want to be able to authorize or decline, that other person should connect with another account.
Hi, the logs didn’t indicate a problem with NoMachine, but I know the developers are still analysing the issue. We’ll update you soon.
The release of this FR will be moved to version 7 at least, and the FR will also be updated to show this.
What OS are you connecting from? What Linux distro, version and desktop environment are you connecting to? I understand you connect once and everything is ok. Then you disconnect and reconnect immediately afterwards and you see a white screen?
Logs from the Linux server you are connecting to would be useful in that case.
