    The DE is XFCE

I’ll check the permissions in all the places you specified.

Nice link to the FAQ article also.  I have a bit of reading to do.

By the way, I just bought a chromebook duet 2 days ago & I’m using NoMachine via android.  No issues at all.

It has to be something on that Ubuntu machine

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have to log in every time, despite the fact that I keep clicking the “save this password” button in the NoMachine session window. After it connects, I also have to close all 4 or 5 of the initial setup windows, even though I click “Do not show this again”

It does NOT do this from a remote Android device, (one click to login, and the setup windows don’t come back). I’m totally guessing, but the local machine is NOT saving any of this information. Where does NoMachine store the session login & settings information?   I think I have a permissions issue & it can’t write the settings to the disk.

As for the last question about logging in without a password. That is not my question. The remote machine is set to require a password to log on. Remember this works from Android remotely and the passwords are working. I just don’t want to enter it EVERY time. I

I believe this is a Ubuntu file permissions issue?
