    Ok, I was able to get that issue resolved, thanks to your help!  I thought I had installed 64 bit Ubuntu, but was wrong.

    Now I can connect, but am seeing a different issue.  After connecting, the window paints and I can see the desktop as expected. However, it ignores half of my keystrokes.  Also, the window goes blank about every 15 seconds, until I move the mouse or some keystroke.  It then takes about 15-30 seconds to repaint, so it is extremely slow.  Is there a thread for this that you can point me to, or should I open a new thread?

    The NX Client side is 5.0.43 on Windows 10. It is the free version.

    I installed the NX Server from the file:is nomachine_5.0.43_1_x86_64.tar on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. It is the free version.
