Thanks – yes she uses Dolphin Screen Reader ( https://yourdolphin.com/en-gb )

Will this ‘work around’ tell me her correct information :- if I ask her to open a browser and Google “What is my Public IP address” – because her screen reader can read the browser well. Is this IP address it produces the correct one?

Hi – thanks for this. Yes, it does open and reveal the IP address we need but…..

I’m sorry to report that my friend’s Screen Reader cannot read it (presumably because it is in the command box) . Would it be possible to adjust the script to out put the result to a Text file – and open that text file directly. I know for a fact that the screen reader can ‘read’ text files easily.

Thank you for your help with this.

…and a second slightly related question…  the last 5 digits …seem to be the port number.   Am I correct in thinking that even if the Public External address alters, that these 5 port digits always remain the same??

Yes, something like that would be useful – please send it to my email. ( I did receive an email from you but there was no attachment)

By the way – did I make it clear that my blind friend uses Windows, so the script would need to be written for that. (although I’m using Linux on my computer)

    Thank you for your time
