When using NoMachine for Mac, I’m still seeing the issue with jumpy scrolling that was first reported in 2016.

    https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/two-finger-scrolling

The issue affects scrolling with either a trackpad or with the Apple Magic Mouse.  To reproduce, connect a client with either a trackpad or Magic Mouse to a Mac server and observe that scrolling jumpy, and not smooth.

As an experiment, I set up a Linux server and connected to it from a couple of Macs with both a trackpad and Magic Mouse.  Scrolling works smoothly and as expected in both cases.  The bug only seems to affect the Mac server.  I’m currently using versioni 6.8.2, but this bug seems to have existed for quite some time.

Scrolling with a Mighty Mouse / trackpad that is connected to the server shows the client screen scrolling correctly.

    To summarise:

Local mac client to remote mac server – bad

Local mac client to remote linux server – good

Local linux client to remote mac server – bad

Would you change scrolling options in System Preferences? Go to Accessibility -> Mouse & Trackpad -> Mouse Options. Try to change scrolling speed and turn “with inertia” into “without inertia”.
